Interesting comments, I've thought about some of the the comments on the forum, clear back to the begninning and also the reviews. I think that humidity is definitely a cause of some strange non-repeated or inconsistent problems. Some carburetors are very susceptable to icing(the temp of the the incoming air drops to the point the carb body will allow ice or frost to form on it surfaces- affecting both air and fuel flow) Icing can occur at almost any temp above about 28deg F when the combination of humidity and air density are just so for a given air flow. I've had more than one vehicle over the years that iced up, one even had a heated air intake system that worked correctly statically at least, and it iced up to the point of having to coast to the side of the road and let the temp come up in the carb metal so it would run. FI solves this problem for the most part. Some of the automotive systems I've studied over the years, actually stived to keep the incoming air temp @160F to make the engine programming work correctly. It would be interesting to give this some more thought and comment as we may help folks not spend hours chasing a problem that is caused by mother nature and not easily solved. Also change brands and or grades of fuel when you experience a problem. Not all fuels are equal and with only 1(love it) cylinder it is more noticable than than on a multicylinder engine. Later, Max
